Silicone Breast Implants Grow (in popularity)
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer the resurgence of silicone breast implants may lead to an ever expanding bustline. According to Rebecca Cat Kidder of implantforum.com:
“I thought, ‘Those are pretty, I want some,’ ” recalled Kidder, who runs implantforum.com, a “megawebsite,” complete with before-and-after photos, chats, vetted listings of surgeons, and a candid chronicle of her own breast quest. “Women want to feel more feminine, to look better in clothes.
It’s beyond a “trend”. 300,000+ women every year have breast implants and clearly bigger is better.
Another apparent trend is toward bigger implants. Even the most common patient – a fortysomething soccer mom – wants to be closer to a Baywatch Babe than, say, a Desperate Housewife.
There you have it, as the breasts get bigger, the fashion will accommodate. Soon enough, women may start having surgery to fit in that Versace gown.
